Hi, my name is Bradley Vincent. I was born on November 30th, 1991 and I am currently 26 years old.  I live in Mauritius, which is a little tropical island found in the Indian Ocean. I am currently studying a Mas-Com degree at the university of Charles Telfair and this is also my final year which I am happy about. On top of that, I am a professional competitive swimmer who has participated in one Olympic Games and two Commonwealth Games. I began my swimming career in 2012 after the London Olympic Games. Before this time, I had never done any kind of professional or amateur level of swimming, why did I start now? My sister used to be a swimmer for Mauritius and even though she did not reach an international level it still opened many doors for her and her future, at the time in 2012 I had very little going for me thus I needed to start doing something productive for my future. That’s when I took my first step into the swimming world and in just under three years I have managed to qualify to the Olympics with a B qualifying time. I am also very passionate about carpentry and micro sustainable farming. These two activities help me to meditate and channel my negative energy into positive outcomes.
